Random Selection
Random testing is the process of selecting individuals by chance from an existing roster and testing them without advance notice. It is the most effective tool used in maintaining a drug-free environment. Alere has two selection systems to help our clients maintain a random testing program.
Managed Random Selections
Alere maintains a roster for the client and generates random selections according to his/her requirements.
Random Number Pulls
This process ensures the complete confidentiality of the population by simply selecting numbers that a client has pre-assigned to its people. Random Number Pulls can be performed by users of Alere’s Internet Reporting System, AlereDataLink, or upon request to Alere’s Client Services Department.
