Client Support

Even with our technological advancements and growth over the years, service remains Alere’s top priority. An experienced, responsive Client Services Department offers prompt, courteous assistance at all times. This department serves as the center of communications for the laboratory and consists of a resourceful staff providing the best service and support in the substance abuse testing industry.

Our Client Service Representatives have years of experience and can be relied upon to provide assistance in the following areas:

  • locating collection sites
  • tracking specimens
  • delivering drug screen results
  • gathering statistical data
  • assisting with collection procedures
  • providing educational information
  • ordering supplies
  • performing random selections

Our standard customer service hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday; however, after hours support may be available by contacting other departments of the laboratory, which is staffed 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday.

When necessary, any client of Alere can call our Client Services Department at our toll-free number and be assured quick and reliable service. To minimize hold times, we efficiently handle inquiries by distributing calls equally among our Client Services Representatives.

Along with experienced customer service representatives, our staff of Ph.D.‘s, chemists, biochemists, and toxicologists is available to answer any technical questions and advise on issues related to your substance abuse testing program. These individuals can also be called upon to provide qualified expert witnesses for court, labor arbitration, and unemployment hearings.
