M.P. George

Director of Operations and Technology

Having recently joined Alere Toxicology Services, Inc. as Director of Operations and Technology, M.P. George has worked in the forensic toxicology industry since 1978. For 17 years, he was the Operations Director for Quest Diagnostics, where he consistently exceeded the company’s goals for productivity, customer, and employee satisfaction and developed and improved several new procedures to reduce cost and improve quality. For the last three years, he worked as the World Wide Marketing Program Manager for the Clinical Mass Spectrometry division within Agilent Technologies. In addition to his duties with the Richmond laboratory, he has serve as an inspector for the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and for the National Laboratory Certification Program (NLCP) administered by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Mr. George received his Bachelor of Science degree from Azusa Pacific University and his Master of Science from Stephen F. Austin University. He is a faculty member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and a member of the Society for Hair Testing.
